Tampa United Volleyball Academy Fundraising Ideas |
|
|
*When we all first became involved with club volleyball, nearly all families were involved with fundraising. Please be encouraged to return to this practice. It is not difficult, and it works!
*Tampa United logos may be used for fundraising with the approval of the Executive Director.
*Feel free to explore traditional fundraising ideas such as candy sales or carwashes. The following have also worked well for former student athletes.
100% goes to you!
1. Online Partners’ Program: Players may sell ads to companies which will remain on our website throughout the duration of the club season. SUGGESTED DONATIONS: $50 per name $100 per business card or personal message $500 per business card + link to your business website Include the club’s address, website, and the Executive Director’s contact information should they need to contact us.
2. Sponsorship letter: Players may use our name and contact information to solicit donations from businesses who support female student athletes. Simply communicate who you are and why you are raising money. Include the club’s address, website, and the Executive Director’s contact information should they need to contact us. (see sample sponsorship provided)

3. Serve-a-thon: Players may solicit donations based on a 100 serve serve-a-thon. Donations may be given for each “in” serve or as a flat donation. Simply produce an excel document which allows for entries for each sponsor and his or her pledge per “in” serve or flat donation. Include the club’s address, website, and the Executive Director’s contact information should they need to contact us. (see sample sign-up sheet provided) 4. MyTeamDream.com: This is a team fundraising service with which Sam Cibrone has had experience. Sam will update our organization concerning contact and instructions as this organization’s website is updated. The 2009 NCAA Women's Division I Volleyball Championships will take place December 17 and 19 at the St. Pete Times Forum. It is the NCAA Division I Women's Final Four and National Championship. The current promotion is the discounted youth group ticket. Tickets are normally priced at $60 for both days (includes all 3 games). But with the purchase of 10 or more, tickets are only $20 for both days (includes all 3 games). The seats for this promotion are located on the 200 level of the St. Pete Times Forum along the sidelines of the court. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
