TaP: Spring, Session 4!!!

The City's Best Value for Quality Volleyball Instruction. We put the FUN in fundamentals!

TAP is a 5-session program geared toward beginners and relatively new players. There is a focus on teaching fundamentals as well some fun play opportunities at the end of each session. Many of our TAP graduates have found their way on to club, middle school, and high school rosters.

HOW MUCH: $175 (TAP is not prorated, come to as many sessions as you can). Bring cash or check, made out to "Tampa United," to the first session.

Tampa United has served the Tampa Bay community for over 25 years.  

Club volleyball has helped numerous girls cultivate self-confidence and self-esteem, understand athletic challenges and sportsmanship, and grow into fine young women. Volleyball opens doors for college scholarship and admission opportunities. We are very proud to be a part of these processes. We firmly believe that we are training young women who will impact all of our futures.

We continue to run our club out of the Thunder Dome, HQ, and Immanuel Lutheran Church.  We are proud to offer these top quality facilities. They are second to none.

For us, it is always about enjoying what happens between the lines. We have college coach led training at every level. Who better to prepare you for college than a coach actively or recently working in college volleyball?

Plyometric training

We have several coaches with a background in strength training that are eager to train our athletes! An additional 15 minutes will be added to each practice, that will be dedicated to plyometric/agility training designed by some of our certified coaches.

big/little program

Details are still being worked out! This program will allow our older players to go through the resume writing and interview process in a simplified, controlled environment while earning community service hours. They will apply to become a BIG to one of our LITTLES. The littles will consist of athletes on our 10-14's teams that wish to be a part of the program. The BIGs will be mentors to our LITTLES throughout the season by being their biggest fans, push them to reach their potential, grow their knowledge of the sport, and be an overall support system.

all things nutrition hub

Our club Registered Dietician will be hosting monthly Zoom meetings for all our families covering such topics as hydration, nutrition fundamentals, meal timing, using nutrition for fueling and recovery, supplements, and so much more. Our families will now be able to visit the Nutrition Hub to openly ask questions, revisit recorded presentations, and gain access to additional materials.

With success, change is inevitable. Over our 26-year journey, we have had a name change and we have taken other clubs under our wing. With all these changes, we have made sure that our philosophies and values did not change. 

Tampa United has one more change to announce…

As of July 1st, our Tampa United name will be on the doors of TWO FACILITIES. We will be UNITING, and taking under our wing, Quest Volleyball Academy. We are extremely excited to welcome all our new families and will continue to open our doors to the volleyball community! Mission Statement

Where every player counts. The Tampa United Volleyball Club believes all players are equally important and valuable and treats all players accordingly.

Training the whole player. Tampa United believes in training the “whole” player; that is not only training players in the fundamentals and strategies of the game, but also training players to be determined, disciplined, and morally strong student athletes. We will not only build high school ready and college ready players, but also future CEOs and community leaders.

Bringing volleyball to you and you to volleyball. Tampa United believes in good sportsmanship from the coaches and staff down to the players. We believe in continual growth for both our players as well as our staff. We believe that part of its mission is to help bring more student athletes of various backgrounds and skill levels to club volleyball.
